The Akrapovic Slip-On silencer is designed for the Yamaha YZF 1000 R1 2004-2006 (type RN12). Sold as a pair, it fits as a direct replacement for your stock silencers with no modification to the downpipe.
This silencer carries H+S (road legal with removable DB killer) approval: fitted with its removable DB killer, it is road legal for everyday use. Removing the DB killer unleashes a more aggressive sound but makes the product no longer road legal.
