The Storm Oval silencer is an exhaust solution designed specifically for the KTM 990 Supermoto SMT 2009-2013 (types LC8SM, VS940 LC8SM C2). Sold as a pair, it delivers a significant weight saving of -5.80 kg while releasing an extra +2.50 hp and a slightly improved torque of +0.10 Nm.
This silencer carries an H+S (road legal with removable DB killer) approval: it is road legal when fitted with its removable DB killer. Without the DB killer, the product is no longer road legal. Please note that homologation is only valid if a catalyst is fitted — available as an option.
